• Price: A – Critter Stop was almost eight thousand dollars cheaper than the other company we met with. It wasn't apples-to-apples, but it was pretty close.

• Onsite Communication: A+ – Every person who came onsite was courteous, well-spoken, and genuinely seemed to care that we were comfortable with the work being performed.

• Quality: B- – Time will tell if the repairs keep critters out, which is the ultimate measure of success. It's quiet up there now, but it generally is in the dead of summer. Some of the work looks rougher than I had imagined (see image of garage door exclusion).

• Thoroughness: A+ – Critter Stop never rushed me to "call the trapping phase done" just so they could move on to the attic restoration and collect the remainder of the contract. This was especially important since nothing was ever actually trapped—but the noises and signs of pests did go away.

• Office Communication: C- – Without a doubt, the most frustrating part of the experience was dealing with the office. Appointments were scheduled late, at times they asked about my availability only to ignore it, other times they just told me when the appointment would be. When the job started, the person who did the consultation (Travis) assured me that he wasn't just the "sales guy" and would be the primary point of contact for the entire effort. I haven't heard from him since April 10th. Finally, after the completion of an $11,000 job, no one contacted me to ensure I was happy with the work and ready to close out the contract. A few days after the insulation was installed, I got a text at 5:30 PM on June 30th saying they would be charging the card on file for the remaining balance. Two hours later, a ~$5,500.00 charge hit the card. I noticed both the text and the charge at the same time later that evening.

• Post-Job Support: F – Closely related to the lack of communication is the support for an issue that arose immediately after the attic insulation was installed. A ceiling fixture that has never once flickered or failed in 20 years suddenly wouldn't turn on. To their credit, Critter Stop sent someone out the next day. The technician was able to confirm that there was a "loose wire" and the fixture came back on when she pushed it back in. She said she would notify the office and they would tell me how to proceed. That visit was on July 1st. After not hearing anything from the office, I emailed them on July 6th to follow up. As of today, July 19th, I've received no response and am about to hire an electrician out of pocket—which is highly frustrating after spending over $11,000 for an "Attic Restoration."

Final Thoughts:

I wish I could be more wholly positive about my experience with Critter Stop. I think highly of every individual that came onsite. If the work results in no pest problems this coming winter, I'll probably feel even better about the core service. However, at the moment, as I'm about to go in search of an electrician to fix a problem that appears to be directly related to the attic restoration—coupled with total radio silence from the front office—I believe this is a fair and not unkind assessment of my experience.

Such amazing customer service! Having 2 Raccoon families in our fireplace has been stressful to say the least, but Jordan and Jacob from the Georgetown team were nothing less than amazing! They were so kind and talked me through each step of the removal process and securing the fireplace so the eviction is final!

Ok....had a really bad raccoons problem. Contacted Critter Stop May 30, 2026. Sent a Critter Human Ross. Waited two days an trapped the Mom....not happy...Trapped 2 baby raccoons...not happy.... another Critter Human Ross stopped by. Crawled underneath my mobile home and verified two more very small baby raccoons....placed two more traps...underneath the kitchen area. Next morning, trapped two more baby raccoons.....very happy. The whole raccoon family trapped safely and relocated. Ross and David were great too work with and followed their instructions.....yahoo!!! Payment was straight forward and worth every penny. The entire staff worked with me with no problems. If any one has a critter problem....ask for Ross & David......home is clean and me and my boy can sleep through the NIGHT!!@ P.s. the other Critter Human was David......sorry fat fingers on key board

Enrique arrived exactly when the company instructed him to, 7:00 a.m. sharp, which is apparently a perfectly reasonable time if you’re a rooster. For the rest of us, it’s a bit more of an adventure.

I answered the door while removing my retainer and wearing what can generously be described as “sleep attire.” My husband was simultaneously staggering through the bedroom in search of clothing after being awakened from a dead sleep.

Through all of this chaos, our technician remained polite, professional, and impressively focused on the job at hand. I’m fairly certain he made a conscious effort to keep his eyes above my collarbone while pretending not to notice the morning circus unfolding around him.

Despite being greeted by what can only be described as a household emergency masquerading as a service appointment, he was courteous, efficient, knowledgeable, and did excellent work. If I were reviewing the technician alone, he’d get six stars.

The only suggestion I have is for the company: maybe consider appointments that occur after humans have had a chance to locate their clothes and coffee. Because he was scheduled so early, unfortunately some rooms did not get treatment because they still contained sleeping humans.

Excellent service, excellent technician, and a memorable start to our morning.

Critter Stop exceeded every expectation I had. I called them after discovering I had unexpected houseguests living rent-free in my attic… a raccoon and her babies. At some point, she fully moved in, had her children, and I am pretty sure she was one throw pillow away from filing for homestead rights.

From the very first call, their responsiveness was incredibly impressive. They got back to me quickly and made the entire process feel easy and stress-free, which is saying a lot when you are lying in bed at night, wondering how many tiny hands are currently rearranging your insulation or hosting what sounds like a full CrossFit class above your ceiling. Their communication was excellent, both when scheduling the appointment and keeping me updated on arrival time. No guessing, no waiting, no spiraling into worst-case scenarios at 2 a.m. while googling “can raccoons chew through drywall and make eye contact.”

Adrian was outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable, calm, and respectful, and took the time to explain everything in a way that made me feel like I was not completely losing control of my own home. He handled the situation like it was just another Tuesday, while I was mentally preparing to list my house “lightly used, recently occupied by woodland creatures” and let the raccoons keep it. What stood out most was his integrity. There was no pressure, no upselling, and no dramatic “you need everything replaced immediately” speech. Just honest recommendations and real solutions.

If a raccoon ever decides to start a family in your attic and treat your home like an all-inclusive resort, skip the panic and call Critter Stop. I could not recommend them more highly.

Adrian came to my house to check
for animals in my attic. My neighbor had raccoons in their attic. Adrian didn’t see animals but found a grate that was torn up. He set up a trial trap to see if they were going in and out. What a wonderful experience
If we do have animals I will call Adrian to take care of them. Very virtuous, pleasant, knowledgeable, and on time!!!

Sorry for the delay.
When we called to set up an appointment, Critter Stop was quick to respond and set up a time. Adrian arrived on time for the appointment. He showed me exactly where there were opening for the squirrels to enter. He checked the attic for any activity and did not see anything suspicious in the attic. Adrian covered the problem areas and even set up a camera to see if squirrels were coming or going. We were able to see one squirrel try to gain access at one area of concern. After the squirrels were gone a pheromone spray was used to remove any scent remaining from the squirrels. Adrain also matched the paint of the house to paint where he covered the areas. We are totally happy with the service and the 3 year guarantee is a nice bonus. I would recommend Critter Stop to my family and friends. Thank you for your service.

Manda is the best! She taught us about mosquitos and the products that make them infertile. That was so interesting!
She is such a great person, loves all animals and protects and rescues them at all costs. Some employees in similar fields put animals down fairly often, oh, not my girl Manda! She will set live traps and wait for them. Sometimes she leave a and swings back around to get them. But she never forgets a single soul in a trap. She protects them and the families who want the critter removed and relocated.
I can't think of a better person for this job. It's a lifestyle for her I assume. Although she is small, she is buff and mighty! Her example of all the things a woman can do have inspired me to go after my dream of protecting others. I have changed my major as a return student.

I had already been impressed with the commitment to customer service of all of the Critter Stop people with whom I had come in contact, but there was no one better than the insulation tech!
