He did not find anything in the attic but did notice fascia board pulling away.  He not only worked on the most obvious part of continued down the wall. We conduct a comprehensive inspection of your home’s attic, inspecting the current insulation, and developing a customized plan for a thorough and efficient removal.

PREPARE THE JOB SITE

Removing insulation is a dirty job. Dust, dirt, and debris are inevitably disturbed, floating into the air. Before we begin an insulation removal job, we prepare the area to prevent damage to the house and minimize dust & debris getting into the living space. We clear a path from our insulation vacuum to the attic entrance. If the attic entrance is inside, we install plastic sheathing along the path of the insulation hose and tape up temporary covers on any corners or furniture that might come in contact with the hose.

REMOVE THE INSULATION

Once the job site is fully prepped, we begin the arduous process of vacuuming and / or hand-removing your attic insulation. We are proud to use top-of-the-line equipment to minimize our time disrupting your home. The entire process usually takes one to three days to fully remove the insulation, depending on the size of the attic and the amount of the debris in the insulation.

CLEAN & RESTORE

Once the insulation is removed, we highly recommend sanitizing your attic, especially if there are signs of previous rodent or other animal activity. Diseases can live in rodent and animal droppings for years and be transmitted via airborne spores. Once the insulation is fully removed, we fog the attic cavity with a sanitation solution that both disinfects, killing germs and diseases, and eliminates animal pheromones that could attract future pests.

Critter Stop is a fantastic business! Everyone involved is extremely professional and very easy to communicate with. Chisam, the owner, did a great job of explaining the process to get the squirrels out of my attic during the initial free estimate. The exclusion crew who did all of the initial work was fabulous. The crew consisted of Phillip, Nick and Corey who arrived promptly when they said they would. They are happy, positive employees. Everyone is very polite and patient in explaining their work and answering questions. They came back several times to check the traps and finish it off with the fogging. Lester was very good about following up to schedule each trap check with me, and the office staff who took care of the billing was very efficient.
